Type of almond:	Hard (Mediterranean) and semi-hard.
Approximate production:	1000 Kg/hr (2200 lbs/hr) of clean inshell almond.

Points to emphasize:

- Compact line for shelling all kinds of mediterranean almonds (hard and semi-hard)

- Almond grading before its shelling with an individual system by “shelling size” patented by BORRELL

- Includes a rotary metal finger sheller for softer almonds “semi-hard”

- Cleaning of the kernels done by means of a 3 size Ø screen, aspiration and thickness grader can be adjusted to centesimals.

- Final manual inspection with option of in the future include an optical sorter.

- Shelling machine has a centralised greasing system.

- Includes control panels. Option of control by computer with touch-screen with automatic programmable startup and shutdown.

- Possibility of working 24 hours in shifts.

Yield:

The production of 1000 Kg/hr (2200 lbs/hr) depends on the type and state of the almonds – which have to be clean of skins and foreign materials.
