NEW SHELLING LINE FOR HAZELNUTS IN COSELVA PDF Print







The cooperative COSELVA, located in La Selva del Camp (Tarragona), has just inaugurated a new shelling line for processing hazelnuts.

All product contact product and conveying systems are made from stainless steel.

The line is designed to shell hazelnuts including pre-cleaning group before shelling, to remove sticks, leaves, stones and other foreing objects.

After that, the product is shelled (shelling machines) and the shells removed by separator machines.

The kernels are then dried and graded.

After grading, the electronical sorters, powered by SatakeScan Master® are the solution for sorting, removing foreign material and providing a premium quality end-product.
