We were happy to present the latter one technological innovations to improve the processing of almonds, among which include:
- Further improvement of BORRELL Shelling systems, exclusive and patented, to improve the quality obtained in the process and dramatically reduce costs and maintenance.
- New equipment for high quality grading, greater capacity and efficiency.
- What's new in the catalog of gravity separation, renewing the supply of separation systems (destoners) and cleaning or recovering almond meats (Gravity tables) : the new Borrell Smart Sorter (TM) range.
- New almond processing machinery catalog (for sliced, slivers, cubes, granules,flour/mill ) New hygienic designs, safe, easy maintenance and exceptional cutting quality.
- New machine to obtain high quality almond cubes in 3D, made by FAM and optimized by BORRELL. This machine is able to get almonds cubes (blanched or natural) without any thermal/moisture pre-treatment.
- New solutions for blanching process: renewed machines designed to minimize maintenance and cleaning time as well as significant improvements in drying and scalding the almonds.
- New energy-efficient solutions for aspirators and dust recovery.
We are also pleased to announce the forthcoming opening of BORRELL USA Corp facilities in Merced (CA, USA), once completed the renovation of the facilities already underway. BORRELL USA expects to be fully at your service in the coming months.
