BORRELL attended the XXX World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress held in Budapest (Hungary) last 20-22 May, 2011.

-New pasteurization system for processing or kernels/meats. Proven results (5 log kill) and low cost.
-New stones/metals sorters (de-stoners): higher capacity, lower energy consumption.
-New meat/kernel cleaners: the new Borrell Smart-Sorter (TM) range.
- New solutions for processing (sliced, slivers, cubes, flour/mill, granules): offering new designs, clean, safe, easy maintenance and exceptional cut quality and efficiency.
- New machine to get perfect almond cubes in 3D, made in cooperation with FAM Belgium . This machine is able to get almond cubes (blanched or natural) without any thermal pre-treatment.
- New solutions for blanching almonds and pistachios: new machines designed to minimize maintenance and cleaning time as well as significant improvements in efficient drying.
- New energy-efficient solutions for dust clean/recovery, in collaboration with Donaldson Air Purification.
