BORRELL® showcases its latest innovations for almonds and pistachios at the Almond & Pistachio Forum 2025.
On November 4, BORRELL® was present at the Almond & Pistachio Forum in Albacete (Spain), held at the Campus of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). This key event for the sector offered an opportunity to share our vision for the future and showcase our latest innovations.

On this occasion, we announced and presented a new generation of groundbreaking solutions:

- Borrell PistaCrack®, an all-in-one machine that redefines pistachio shelling.
- The new BORRELL SmartSorter® Vision range, representing a major technological leap in optical sorting.
These innovations were complemented by improvements in almond blanching with the Borrell SmartBlanch® system, as well as new developments in automation, conveying, drying, roasting, pasteurization, and other processes.
In collaboration with our technology partners, we highlighted the FAM Scalibur® almond slicer—unmatched in precision and productivity—along with other complementary solutions that expand processing capabilities and add value to the final product.
The Forum was an excellent opportunity to experience first-hand these disruptive technologies that are setting a new benchmark in the nut industry.
